Translational Medicine Day Committee

Translational Medicine is a new discipline in biomedical research that aims to expedite the discovery of new diagnostic tools and treatments by using a multidisciplinary, highly collaborative, "bench-to-bedside" approach. Our Translational Medicine Day committee hopes to showcase this amazing field by planning the annual Translational Medicine Day event!

Weekly Meetings

Weekly meetings are on Mondays from 6pm to 7pm in PFBH room 291. Our first meeting of the year is on October 10th during week 2

NOTE: TMD is no longer holding weekly meetings as Translational Medicine Day has passed

  • Co-Chair

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Pan and I am serving as Translational Medicine Day Co-Chair this year! I am a 2nd year Bioengineering: Biotechnology major in Sixth College and this is my second year in BMES. I love BMES because it is an incredibly supportive and welcoming place to grow professionally and meet people who all share a passion for bioengineering. I am also involved in research on campus as an undergraduate research assistant in the Mali Lab. For fun, I enjoy swimming, going on hikes, and watching sunsets. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to chat!

  • Co-Chair

Hello! My name is Nikaash Bahl and I'm one of the Translational Medicine Day (TMD) co-chairs for this school year. I enjoy participating in BMES because it gives me the opportunity to meet new people while developing my academic and professional skills. Outside the club, I like cooking and playing sports. If you have any questions about BMES or anything else, please feel free reach out!
