Project Team Committee
The Project Team Committee is dedicated to the Biomedical Research and Competition sector of our organization. Every year, we hope to give undergraduate studnets the ability to attain hands-on experience with laboratory techniques in academic departments ranging from Mechanical to Bioengineering to the UC San Diego Medical School. Additionally we hope to get people involved in research by providing exciting projects developed by partnering faculty!
Weekly Meetings
Weekly meetings are on Thursdays in PFBH room 291 from 7-8 pm. Our first meeting of the year is on the 10th of October, during week 2 of Fall

Co-ChairHi, my name is Mayah and I am one of the Project Team Co-Chairs. I am super excited for all awesome plans we have for project team this year as well as all of the amazing events hosted by BMES. Outside of BMES I am a member of Women In Business and Lion Dance at UC San Diego.

Co-ChairHi everyone! My name is Sirasit (Mos) Prayotamornkul, and I am a 4th year Bioengineering major from Revelle College. I am excited to serve as the BMES Project Team Co-Chair for the 2024-2025 school year. Being a part of BMES has allowed me to grow professionally and personally, while connecting with like-minded individuals who share a passion for biomedical engineering. Apart from BMES, I am an undergraduate researcher in the Shi Laboratory of Optical Bioimaging and Spectroscopy. I enjoy playing basketball and tennis, and listening to music. Looking forward to see everyone and let’s have some fun!
